John Stubbs
Healthcare Practice Group
John Stubbs began working in real estate in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina while in school at Duke University. In 1998, John founded Davis Moore Advisors, focusing on tenant representation for corporate and healthcare clients. John moved to Charlotte in 2005 to expand the Davis Moore footprint, until the sale of the company to Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”) in October 2007.
After working at JLL, John founded Davis Moore to continue working with corporate and healthcare clients. John’s healthcare real estate experience led to the creation of Davis Moore’s healthcare practice group focusing solely on ambulatory needs of health systems and physician practice groups. Since 2001, John has developed and currently owns numerous ambulatory projects ranging in size from 10,000 to 125,000 square feet and works closely with health systems and practice groups on their ambulatory real estate needs in Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
John holds a degree in Economics from Duke University. In 2022, John completed the General Management Program and became an alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
John lives in Charlotte with his wife Erin, a faculty pediatrician at Atrium Health, and children Charlie, Teddy, Caroline, and Henry.
